EU buyers
If you are an EU business with EU-only shopping preferences, you will need to provide your VAT number, while EORI is not necessary in this case.
If your preferences are set to include the UK, an EORI number is also required, along with your VAT number.
UK buyers
If you are a UK buyer and have your shopping preferences set to UK only, you no longer need to provide VAT and EORI numbers during checkout. You can proceed with your purchase without these numbers.
However, if your shopping preferences are set to EU, you will be required to add VAT and EORI numbers to ensure a smooth checkout process.
