Do I need a VAT number to register?
EU Buyers
If you are a business registered in the European Union:
- You must provide a valid VAT number.
- An EORI number is not required for purchases within the EU.
What You Need to Provide:
- Company Name (as officially registered on VIES portal)
- Country of Registration
- VAT Number (must be valid and verifiable on the VIES portal)
- Company Registration Number, depending on your business type:
- Registered Businesses: Please enter your Chamber of Commerce number.
- Sole Traders/Self-Employed: Please enter your national registration number or equivalent based on your country’s regulations.
⚠️ Please ensure that the details you submit match exactly what is registered with your local tax authorities. Inaccurate or missing information can delay your orders.
Non-EU Buyers
If your business is registered outside the EU, different requirements apply depending on how you buy:
-
Buying via EXW (collecting from our Netherlands warehouse)
-
You do not need a VAT number at registration
-
You must provide an EORI number: this is required to file the Dutch export declaration, as you act as the exporter of record
-
-
-
You must also provide your freight forwarder's details before placing an order
-
-
Buying via our global distribution partner:
-
Standard business registration details required
- Our partner will advise on any additional documentation needed in your country
-
