-
FCA route:
You do not need an EORI number. Qogita acts as the exporter of record and files the Dutch export declaration on your behalf.
You may still need an EORI or local equivalent in your destination country to clear import customs — your freight forwarder will advise on this.
-
EXW route:
You do need an EORI number. Under EXW terms, you are the exporter of record and are responsible for filing the Dutch export declaration with Dutch Customs (Douane).
To do this, you or your freight forwarder acting on your behalf must hold an EORI number issued by an EU member state, or a non-EU EORI equivalent accepted by Dutch Customs.
What is an EORI number?
An Economic Operators Registration and Identification number is a unique identifier required for businesses involved in import/export in the EU. If you don't already have one, your freight forwarder can advise on how to obtain one in your country.
⚠️ You will be asked to provide your EORI number before placing an EXW order on Qogita.
