How long does it take to deliver pre-orders?

What are pre-orders?

Pre-orders are products that are ordered from manufacturers or suppliers on demand. This means when you order these items on our platform, the supplier then orders them from their source, which extends the delivery timeline.

The benefit? You get access to products that might otherwise be unavailable, often at competitive prices and with larger quantities available.

How pre-order delivery works

  1. You place your order on Qogita for a pre-order item
  2. The supplier orders from their source (manufacturer or authorised distributor)
  3. Goods are received by the supplier
  4. Items are shipped to you once they arrive at the supplier's warehouse
  5. You receive your order

How long does it take to deliver pre-orders?

Pre-orders come with extended delivery times compared to our standard 10 working days. Delivery times vary by product and supplier, but all pre-order items are clearly marked on the platform so you have an idea of what to expect before placing your order.

We work closely with our suppliers to meet the communicated delivery timeframes. However, because pre-orders involve ordering products on demand from manufacturers, occasional delays may occur due to factors beyond our direct control, such as:

  • International logistics: Goods arriving from outside the EU may experience delays in transit or customs clearance
  • Global supply chain events: Shipping routes and transit times can be affected by international events
  • Manufacturing schedules: Some suppliers place orders with manufacturers on a weekly or biweekly basis, which may extend waiting times

When delays occur, we keep you informed and work with suppliers to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. The estimated delivery times shown on our platform remain the best indicator of when to expect your order.

Where to find pre-order delivery times

Pre-order items and their delivery times are clearly marked in several places:

⚠️ Always review delivery times carefully before placing your order. Pre-order delivery times can range from a few weeks to several months, depending on the product and supplier.

Why choose pre-orders?

Pre-orders offer several advantages:

  • Better availability: Access to products that might be out of stock elsewhere
  • Larger quantities: Often more units available compared to in-stock items
  • Competitive pricing: Pre-orders can offer excellent value
  • Full product ranges: Complete access to a supplier's catalog, not just what's currently in their warehouse

💡 Pre-order delivery times are clearly displayed throughout your shopping and checkout experience. Make sure to factor these timelines into your purchasing plans.
