At Qogita, we know it can be frustrating to see an item you've ordered get cancelled, only to find the same product still available at a higher price. This happens because of how our marketplace platform works, and we’d like to explain the process.
Qogita connects buyers with multiple sellers who offer the same products. Our platform is designed to show you the best available offer, usually the one with the lowest price, first. Once you or someone else purchases that specific offer, it's automatically removed from the site. However, if another seller has the same product in stock, it may still appear in search results, sometimes at a higher price.
For example, you might see a product listed as 100 units available for €10 from one seller. After the purchase, the platform will update and show the next best offer, which might be the same 100 units available, but now at €12 from a different seller. This is why you might see a price change, even though the product appears to still be available.
Once you place and pay for an order, we immediately notify our sellers, who have up to 5 working days to confirm and ship your items. Occasionally, however, a seller might not have the item in stock or may no longer be able to fulfill the order. In such cases, the order will be updated on your account to reflect that the item is no longer available. If this happens, the value of the unavailable item will be automatically refunded to your Qogita cash wallet once the invoice is generated.
You can either withdraw the refunded amount to your bank account or use it to place a new order on the platform—whichever is more convenient for you.
We strive to keep these situations to a minimum, but given the dynamic nature of a marketplace with multiple sellers, changes in stock and pricing can sometimes happen unexpectedly.
