How is VAT paid & refunded on my orders? - EU buyer guide
Understanding VAT for EU orders NEW
VAT on EU orders depends on the location from which the seller ships the products.
For orders shipping to France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland.
At the time of check out you will always be charged VAT.
-
If your order is sourced domestically:
At the time of the check out you will be charged with local VAT rate.
-
If your order is sourced internationally:
At the time of the check out you will be charged with VAT but you will be refunded on your wallet. Furthermore, VAT will be showed in your Pro Forma Invoice but it won’t show in your Final Invoice.
💡 If you would rather not pay for VAT, you can go to your account settings and remove your own country from the list under “shopping preferences”, meaning your order will always be purchased internationally.
⚠️ For orders partially fulfilled domestically and partially internationally, you will be charged VAT at the time of the check out but you will be refunded of the VAT cost related to the international part of the order.
For orders shipping to The Netherlands
As a Dutch company with local VAT registration, Qogita always charges 21% VAT to Dutch buyers, as required by law.
